Stephen Wasserman

It is with heavy hearts the family of Stephen Wasserman, 58, of Pickens, South Carolina announce his passing on December 16, 2019 encompassed by the love of his mother, sister Barbara, and niece, Amanda Thorpe. Stephen, born in Providence, Rhode Island, predeceased by his brother, Alan Wasserman, is survived by his mother, Barbara Wasserman, father, Louis Wasserman, sisters, Barbara Yergeau [Robert], Linda Pence, and Kathleen Passmore [Steve], nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. Those blessed by having been in the presence of Stephen know he never met a stranger, ministering the blessings of the Lord in his daily interactions. Stephen had a competitive spirit, dazzling smile, generous heart, and a tag-line beloved by his family, “I love you more than you love me!”
The family will be hosting an intimate celebration of life, and ask in lieu of flowers and gifts to either volunteer their time or make donations in Stephen’s name to either Hospice Care of South Carolina ( www.hospicecare.net ) or to the American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org)
