Steve's life was a testament to the love he had for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne Montstream. His legacy continues through his stepson, Joseph Lachut, and his wife Jessica, and their cherished son, Wilson. Steve is survived by his mother Elizabeth Montstream and her husband Bob Duprey, his sister Maureen Baird and her husband Sigmond Baird, and his sister Geryl Montstream. His role as an uncle was one he cherished deeply, leaving behind fond memories with his four nephews, four great-nephews, and two great-nieces.
Professionally, Steve dedicated 18 years of service to the City of Greenville's solid waste division. His commitment to his work was evident in the diligence and care he brought to his role every day. Steve's passion for the environment extended beyond his professional life; he was a certified arborist who found joy in working with trees. Many will remember Steve for the love he had for cutting trees and splitting firewood.
