Stanley Lee Cape, 67, of Easley, SC, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Richard Michael Campbell Veterans Home in Anderson, SC
Born in Pickens County, the Son of the late Lonnie and Ruthell Cape. Stan was a former employee of the State of South Carolina, entrepreneur, and spiritual beacon for those that he came in contact with. Stan was a Naval Veteran who resided at Richard Michael Campbell Veterans Home in Anderson, SC. Throughout Stan’s life he forged many friendships, ministered before those who needed to hear the word, and witnessed before those who needed to see the word. Stan Cape was many things to many people a Son, brother, father, but most importantly he was a child of god. A man who god allowed to do it “His way” and still reach out to people and witness before them as to what it means to be a real person and follower of Christ. In that, many will miss him, and his legacy will be felt for years to come.
Surviving are his Son Aaron W. Cape and his Fiance Rhonda K. Mclaughlin of Murrells Inlet, SC. Brother James W. Cape and his Wife Adelaide, of Huntsville , AL, Granddaughter Kaytlin Cape, 2 nieces, 1 nephew. and close and dear friend Jane Magill, of Greenville, SC
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, July 22, 2019 at The Cremation Society of South Carolina at Westville Funeral Home 6010 White Horse Road Greenville, SC.
Family will meet at the Westville Funeral Home at 10:00 AM for fellowship and prayer prior to service.
