Sherie (Sherry) Shull Burdett

Born: December 19th, 1961
Died: April 3rd, 2023

Sherry is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mack Burdett; two sons, Chip Burdett (Carrie) and Jesse Burdett (Cayley); two grandchildren, Sophie and Bo Burdett; all of Powdersville, SC.
Sherry is also survived by two sisters; Kelly Shull and Lyn Dellinger (Ben), and two nephews; Adam and Greyson Dellinger; all of Simpsonville, SC. Additionally, an “adopted” brother, Dean Cooke of Greenwood, SC.
She was predeceased by her parents, Chipper and Judy Shull.
Sherry was a graduate of Limestone University and held a 34-year career at Michelin Tire Company in Greenville, SC; most recently as a Career Development partner.
She was a proud member of Bethesda United Methodist Church for over 30 years, where she was a servant leader that shared her gifts with her church family. She enjoyed teaching Children’s Sunday School and singing in the praise band along with her two sons.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 7th at Bethesda UMC in Easley. Receiving of friends will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethesda’s Sunday School program (link) where Sherry’s legacy of love will continue for generations to come.
