Sheila P. Bannister, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on May 4, 1957, Sheila's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, friends, and the many lives she touched with her kindness.
Sheila's journey began as the heart of her family, a role she cherished above all. Her late husband, Tony Bannister, was her partner in life's dance. She raised two wonderful children, Bobby Richardson (married to Sandra) and Kristen Green. Sheila's love extended to her sister, Karen Richardson, and her joy multiplied with the birth of her four grandchildren Kaydance Richardson, Anna Gilreath, Ashlynn Arson and Bryce Axson who became the apples of her eye.
A homemaker and caregiver, Sheila poured her soul into nurturing those around her. Her intelligence and creativity shone through in every task she undertook, making her home a warm and welcoming haven for all. Her hands were rarely still, as she found solace and expression in arts and crafts, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful creations that her family will treasure forever.
Sheila's loving nature was the cornerstone of her existence. She was a confidante and a source of wisdom for her friends and family, embodying the virtues of compassion and empathy. Her creative spirit will live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to experience her intelligence, her laughter, and her unwavering support.
As we bid farewell to Sheila, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman dearly loved. Her spirit, a blend of love and light, will continue to guide and inspire us. Sheila P. Bannister's legacy is one of love, and it is with that love that we will remember her, always.
