Shane's life was marked by his unwavering devotion to his family and his faith. He was a dedicated member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Texas, where he found great solace and community. Shane's love story with his wife, Tammy Lawson, was one of deep companionship and mutual support. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and laughter, a sanctuary that Shane cherished deeply.
Shane was a devoted husband to his wife, Tammy "Johns" Lawson. He was also a proud father to his children, Mercedes Lawson Morton (Chase) and Dallas Lawson (Morgan), and a grandfather to his treasured granddaughter, Fallyn. His role as an uncle to Cameron Lawson and a brother to Stacy Lawson (Cara), both of Texas, was filled with moments of guidance and joy. Shane also held a special place in his heart for his uncle, Tommy "TK" Kinard (Gail) of Greenwood.
Shane's journey through life was one of service and sacrifice. After graduating from high school, he answered the call of duty and joined the army. His time as a core engineer in Germany was a testament to his commitment to helping others and serving his country with distinction. Shane was a man of integrity and honor.
Shane's interests were a reflection of his loving nature. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent at home with his fur babies and his wife. His heart was also with the Faith Home family in Greenwood, SC.
Those who knew Shane would describe him as a loving, faith-filled, and thoughtful man. His presence was a beacon of light, and his actions were guided by a deep sense of empathy and kindness. Shane's impact on the lives of those around him was profound, and his memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held on July 6, 2024, at the faith home, 144 Faith Home Rd, Greenwood, SC 29646, on Saturday night service. The family is at the home of 1417 Woodlawn Rd, Greenwood 29646.
