Scott Isgett

July 25, 1963 — June 19, 2024

Greenville, SC

Scott Isgett, a cherished brother, uncle, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Greenville, SC. Born on July 25, 1963, in Asheville, NC, Scott lived a life marked by laughter, intelligence, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone he met.

Scott's early years in Asheville were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family. He was the beloved son of the late W. Lee and Marguerite Isgett and grew up alongside his caring siblings, Stephen Isgett (with wife Tammie Isgett) and Sharon McMurry (with husband Patrick McMurry). His family expanded to include his adored son, Thomas Isgett (with wife Abreanna Isgett), and his treasured grandchild, Quinten Isgett. Scott was a fun and playful uncle to his nephews, Timothy Isgett, Tyler Isgett (with wife Keli Isgett), and Noah McMurry, who will all miss his humor and guidance.

Scott was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching basketball, baseball and football. His love for sports was only matched by his affection for the beach, where he enjoyed many vacations.

Scott's sense of humor was legendary. He had a knack for making people laugh and could light up a room with his wit. Friends and family will fondly remember his funny anecdotes and the joy he brought to every gathering.

Scott Isgett's legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness. His intelligence and gentle nature made him a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him.
