He was born on April 5, 1959, in Matoaka, West Virginia, to the late Elwood Roscoe Brewer and Alfreda Louise Hubbard. Scott was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Phillip Brewer, who will be deeply missed.
Scott leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his surviving family members. He is survived by Sandra B. Heard and her family, Mark Brewer and his family, Charlotte Brewer and her family, Debra Brewer and her family, Dreama Brewer and her family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. His presence in their lives will forever be treasured.
Throughout his life, Scott pursued his passion for carpentry and became a highly skilled tradesman. His expertise extended beyond carpentry, as he possessed a remarkable talent for sheetrock work. With a natural aptitude and self-training, he had the ability to transform any space with his meticulous craftsmanship.
After retiring from his carpentry career, Scott found solace and joy in the great outdoors. He developed a deep affection for hiking, spending countless hours exploring the majestic Appalachian mountains. His adventurous spirit thrived amidst the breathtaking landscapes, and he found peace in the embrace of nature.
Born and raised in West Virginia, Scott's formative years were filled with hunting and fishing expeditions. He particularly cherished his memories of hunting wild grouse, a favorite pastime that he shared with those dear to him. He took pride in passing down his knowledge of dressing a wild grouse to his loved ones, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
Scott's love for animals extended to his passion for raising chickens. Their presence brought him immense joy, and he poured his heart into caring for them. His affinity for these feathered creatures was truly endearing.
