Scott Lynn Beardsley, 55, father of Scott Beardsley, II and Morgan Slater, passed from this life Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Battle Creek Michigan, Scott is a son of the late Ray and Naida Beardsley. He was an employee of Ramboard in Greer, South Carolina for a number of years where he was affectionately referred to as “Grandpa”.
Survivors include his wife Wendy Beardsley, his children; Scott Beardsley, II (Leah), Morgan Slater (Christopher), grandchildren; Owen, Arianna and Aurora and a sister Jennifer Cobb.
Scott will be remembered as a great man, a great friend, and a great father. He always worked his hardest to provide for the ones he loved and to instill those disciplines into his son. You could find Scott cheering on his Panthers on any given Sunday and cooking as much food as he possibly could.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2020 in the chapel of Cremation Society of South Carolina ~ Westville Funerals from 2 PM until 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Greer Relief & Resources Agency, Inc., 202 Victoria Street, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
