Sandra Oglesby

Our precious mother, Sandi “with an I” Lee Oglesby, went to be with our Lord Jesus on The 1st of September, 2022 while in hospice care at Greenville Memorial Hospital at 72 years old. My sweet and precious mother lost her battle with aggressive Lung Cancer, but it never stopped her from giving out the bestJesusus filled hugs.

Sandi was born Sandra Lee Ericson in Saint Peter Minnesota on November 13, 1949. She was preceded in death by her ( Mother ) Wanda and (Father) Richard Ericson, (Stepfather) David Heath, (Brother ) Allen, and (Sister) Rickie Ann Ericson. Sandi is a Loving mother of two children, Adrian and Sonya Oglesby. She cherished her grandchildren Nicolas Harris, Angeleigha Lempesis, Erica Byrum, Grace, and Adrian Jr, and her Great Grandson Ren. We love you and will miss you dearly Me’ ma!

She is survived by her sister Edna Neubarth with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in Minnesota.

Sandi moved to Greenville, SC in 1982. She resided in Travelers Rest for over 26 years.

She never meet a stranger and told the best stories. My mother touched many hearts with her Jesus-filled hugs, Angel wings, and the Holy buckets! My mother was called Mama Sandi or Me’ma by the ones who knew and love her. She is a soul that will never be forgotten but lives on in all who knew her.

There are many things I'll remember
About my mom.
How soft her hands were,
How her eyes sparkled,
How her smile lit up her entire face.
I'll remember the hearty sound of her laugh,
And the tone of her voice when
Someone disappointed her.
But most of all, I'll remember how I felt
When she said to me, "I love you."
That was the best feeling in the world,
To know this very special woman
Loved me with all her heart.
Of all the memories that may dim
In the coming years,
That feeling is something I know
I'll never forget. And I just want to say,
I love you too, Mommy
