Sandor Molnar, 55, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was born August 19, 1969 in Urbana, Illinois to Sandor and Lynda (Powell) Molnar. He was a 1988 graduate of Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC. He is survived by his wife, Laurie (Hartman), and son, Michael, of Simpsonville, his mother, Lynda, sister Piri, step daughter, Heather Tardy, granddaughter Chloe, all of Greenville, SC, his grandmother, Yolande Powell, of England, and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Sandor Molnar, and grandfather, Eric Powell.
Sandor loved talking to friends and family, playing his guitar, and harmonica. Although he loved all types of music, his favorites were classic rock and blues. He enjoyed watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies, as well as the Godfather, and old classic TV shows such as The Honeymooners. Sandor had a big heart and always tried to help out his family and friends when needed. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Greenville Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1135 State Park Rd, Greenville, SC, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
