Sandeleco Rodrigez "Big Rod" Abercrombie

Sandeleco Rodrigez "Big Rod" Abercrombie,46, of Greenville, SC, passed away on November 11, 2022. He was the son of the late Eugene Abercrombie and Mary Helen Abercrombie, born in Greenville, SC, on May 7, 1976. Big Rod is survived by his fiancee Desiree Downs; children: Sandeleco Rodrigez Abercrombie Jr, Yasmine William, Destiny Abercrombie Brown, Aaliyah Abercrombie, and Ashanti Abercrombie; siblings: Stephanie Dawkins, Travis Abercrombie, Ricky McKinney, and Betty McGee; life long friends Thomas "X" Freeman and Mack Jackson, and host of nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother PJ McKinney, sister Candice Abercrombie, and best friend TJ Gantt. Big Rod was a generous, funny, humble, loving man and prayer warrior. " He was my best friend, my boogaloop, protector, love of my life, my baby, my right hand, and was simply the best. God truly blessed me with the love of my life and soulmate and will be forever grateful " Desiree. Big Rod enjoyed working on cars and car systems, drawing, music, movies, and animals. He loved and prayed for all his children, and also loved his Church and God. Service will take place at the Chapel of the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, Friday, November 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm the family wishes that everyone wear orange in honor of Big Rod.
