Samuel F. Powell

Samuel Felty Powell, 27, passed away in his sleep and now rests in peace, in the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on May 19, 2018. Samuel was born on April 8, 1991 in Greenville, SC he was the son of Sara and the late Evan Powell. Sam attended Greenville Technical College and Northland International University. Sam liked working in Healthcare, Sales and Landscaping.

Survivors include his Mother, Sara Powell, Grandmothers; Bert Moore and Jean Dover, Aunts; Susan Moore, Elizabeth (Alex) Barefoot, Allison Head, and his Girlfriend, Ana Blasier, and many extended family members. Sam enjoyed golf and fishing, he had a love and compassion for those with special needs and enjoyed serving as a volunteer for “Joni and Friends.” He attended Horizon Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service will be held 3PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Horizon Presbyterian Church, 1070 East Butler Road, Greenville, SC 29607. Donations in Sam’s name may be made to “Joni and Friends.”
