Brent was the light in countless lives. He had a heart of pure gold that shined as bright as his infamous “gold cat eyes” as he liked to call them. He was a gift to the world! One of God’s most charismatic and caring souls. Everyone was drawn to him and his light. He spread that light. He shared his positive energy, always aiming to make his loved ones happy. Brent could make a statue smile. To know him was to love him. And to have him love you was a blissful blessing. He was only 38 when he passed. His memory, his legacy, and his precious life will always be celebrated by his family and friends. Brent is survived by his 4 children: Samuel Brent Landreth, Jr. (14), Gabriel Cole Landreth (11), Zoey Star Landreth (7), Malachi NiKlaus Landreth (5), their mother Shavaun Landreth, his sister Brandy Landreth and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him and are true and loyal to his memory.
Brent’s greatest accomplishment was becoming a father. He was an on-the-go fun dad and his children flocked to him. Crawling over him, playing with him, laughing with him. Bathing in that light he shined. He loved hearing them laugh. Watching them play. He loved his kids. He loved Shavaun and she loves him still. It is an honor to raise his children, watching them carrying on their father’s light in their own lives. Yes, he is gone much too soon, but he will never, ever, be forgotten. We send our love and say our goodbyes and give him over to God and Heaven with one of Brent’s most common expressions:
