LAURENS: TROUTON
On December 13, 2017, Samantha Louise (Tate) Trouton, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was met by a host of angels including her parents, James R. and Louise (Adams) Tate, her brother, M. Larry Tate, a sister-in-law, Carol L. Tate, two nieces, Kimberly Tate and Joya Humphreys, and her best friend, Jerry C. Trouton.
Samantha is survived by her daughter, Traci Trouton-Burr (Ricky) of Taylors, SC, grandsons, Joseph C. Trouton (Andrea), and Joshua C. Trouton, both of Wilmington, NC, granddaughters, Tina M. Dawson (Cody) and Mindy F. Burr, both of Six Mile, SC, and her namesake, Samantha N. Trouton Loftis of Taylors, SC. She also leaves a legacy of love in her great-grand children: Moriah H. Trouton, Aidan I. Dawson, Peyton E. Dawson, Candise R. Rhodes, Jamie Dale Rhodes, Parker C. Dawson, Kaelyn Mayfield, and Daviel Banister.
Counted among her blessings are her brothers: James W. Tate, Pastor Bob C. Tate (Kathy) and Ernest Tate, of Laurens County, and John H. Tate of Greenville, SC. Sisters, Diana L. Brewer (Bobby), of Easley and Linda E. Birdsong (Walker), of Taylors, SC; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, “NaNa Kids” and her extended church family.
Samantha was a longtime member of Victory Worship Center in Clinton, SC where she served the Children’s Ministry and the Praise Team for many years. Her devotion to her church family and community was unparalleled.
A Memorial Service will be held at Victory Worship Center, 27824 U.S. 76, in Clinton, SC, on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 3:00 pm.
