Mr. Sam Allen Cook Jr., 71 of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Prisma Healthcare. He was the son of the late Sam Allen Cook, Sr. and Inez Rosalee Mills Cook.
He was a graduate of Beck High School and served in the United States Army. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother: Carolyn Cook, Betty Joe Cook, Diane Cook Griffith, and Donny Ray Cook. He leaves to cherish loving memories: two sons, Frederick Cook and Allen (Dawn) Cook of Greenville, SC; one daughter, Keisha (Fred) Johnson of Greenville, SC; one brother, Steven Cook of the home; one sister, Rose-Mary Cook of The Bronx, NY; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends.
