Rutherford Nathaniel Trottier
February 3, 1925 - March 24, 2023
Rutherford Trottier, 98 of Greenville S.C. was predeceased by his wife Constance Jette Trottier, who passed away on May 6, 2015. Rutherford was born in Wilder Vt, the son of Anatole Trottier and Jenny Radigan Trottier.
He and his beloved wife, Connie, founded the Keene Beauty Academy in 1963. In 1974 they purchased the New England School of Hair Design. As a Jehovah's Witness, since his Baptism in 1954, one of his greatest joys in life was spreading the Good news of God's Kingdom with his fellow witnesses. Rutherford enjoyed painting and later became an accomplished artist. One of his favorite hobbies was golfing. In his spare time, he was a tinkerer and inventor.
He is survived by his three Sons, Allan and his wife Annette of Greenville, S.C. Bradley and his wife Deborah of Nottingham, N.H. and Gary and his wife Brenda of Claremont N.H. He has seven grandchildren; Amanda, Jared, Timothy, Bradley, Jeremy, Jonathan, and Jamie. He is survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 300 East Belvue Rd. Taylors S.C.
