Ruth T. Crain

Ruth T. Crain of Piedmont, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2025. 

 Ruth was born on January 28, 1946 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Donald "J.G." Tammen Sr. and Agnes Ruth Tammen.

 She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of fifty-one years, Roger W. Crain Sr. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald J. Tammen Jr., Ronald E. Tammen, Kenneth M. Tammen, and sister, Delores Ann Tammen. 

 Ruth retired as Vice President from Wells Fargo Bank after forty years of service. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her grandchildren, W. Chase Crain, Eden Crain Richardson, Beau B. Crain, and W. Nathan Crain. 

 Ruth is survived by her sons, Roger W. Crain Jr. (Billy), wife, Paige and Kevin Michael Crain (Mike), wife, Christie. She is also survived by grandchildren, W. Chase Crain, wife, Mallory, Eden Crain Richardson, husband, Grant, Beau B. Crain, and W. Nathan Crain.

 The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church,101 Pisgah Road, Easley, South Carolina, 29642, with a service to follow at Mt. Pisgah at 2:00 P.M.

There will be a graveside service to follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, South Carolina, 29674.
