In Loving Memory of Russell Dean Schrader

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Russell Dean Schrader on April 30, 2024. Born on April 25, 1962, Russell was a beacon of joy and love throughout his 62 years.

Russell was a cherished son to Dena Bichsel; a devoted husband to Tracie, his beloved wife of 40 years; a loving father to his sons James and Joseph; and a dear brother to Steve and his wife Rose. He was a treasured brother-in-law to Todd Metz and a fun-loving uncle to many nieces and nephews who adored him. Russell was predeceased by Melvin Schrader Sr (father), Bill Bichsel (Step-Father), his brother Melvin (Butch) Schrader, brother Kevin Schrader, and sister Shelly Bichsel.

A loyal friend and a committed member of Burnsview Baptist Church, Russell's spirit was a light to all who knew him. He embraced life with a passion for fishing, exploring the great outdoors, and delighting family and friends with his cooking skills.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Russell's life on Sunday, May 5^th at 1:00 PM at Burnsview Baptist Church in Greer. It will be a time to share memories and honor the man whose life touched so many.

In memory of Russell, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Burnsview Baptist Church. These contributions will continue his legacy of faith and community.

As we remember Russell, let us hold onto the joy he brought into our lives and find comfort in knowing that he rests in the divine embrace of eternal peace.
