Ruby Kathleen Cox

Ruby Kathleen Cox, 68, of Greenville, SC passed away Thursday, November 5th, 2020. She was born in Greenville, SC, Tuesday, August 19th, 1952 to her parents, the late William Edward Gordon and Ruth Hewins.
She will be missed by her beloved companion of 30 years, Mr. James “Henry” Gray, as well as her family, her daughter Rolanda Cox; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Aaron, Rufus III and Chandler; her 4 great grandchildren; her sisters, Elaine and Vera; her special niece Micaela and many other nieces and nephews; and her childhood friend Mrs. Rebecca.
Ruby was a homebody that enjoyed nature and life as it passed by, above all she loved being with her grandchildren. She was the life of the party, her cooking was unforgettable. Her unsinkable and well mannered way of being made everyone comfortable around her. The gathering of family at the holidays always brought joy to her.
Along with her parents, Ruby was predeceased by her daughter Joy and her son-in-law Dennis.
