Royal Bosworth Young IV

Royal Bosworth Young, IV, 65, of Simpsonville, SC passed away January 31, 2022. He was born in Connecticut to the late Royal Bosworth Young, III and Eva May Leschensky Young. Known as “Rapid Roy”, he owned and operated Augusta Road Radiator for 43 years. When not working, he enjoyed cutting the grass, wood working, and being “Papa” to his granddaughter. He loved taking care of their horses, especially when his daughter started barrel racing. He was “Chevrolet, all the way”.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Michele Moreland Young; daughter, Tiffany (Brad) Rogers; granddaughter, Shyanne Rogers; siblings, Sharon (Bob Wicks) Young, Patty (Mike) Jenkins, Kathy (Alan) Gabris, Debbie (Ed) Valko, and Betty (Bob) Tierney.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Sunday, February 6th at Windy Hill Event Barn, 2733 E. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
