Roy Felix Watson, 71, of Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away on April 9, 2023. He was born on November 3, 1952, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late Clarence and Hazel Watson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers David Eugene Watson and Robert Stephen Watson, and sister Nancy Baltazar.
Roy is survived by his sister Frances Griffin (Dale); niece Jennifer Overstreet; and nephews Ricky Childress, Steven Watson, David Watson Jr. He will be remembered for his love of nature and his passions for fishing and bird watching. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, taking in the beauty of the world around him.
Roy was a gentle and kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will cherish the memories they shared with him.
Rest in peace, Roy. You will be forever missed, but your memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
