Roy Sidney "Sid" Young Jr.

Roy Sidney "Sid" Young Jr. 61 passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday August 1st 2017. Formally of Union, SC, Sid was the son of Roy S & Mary Jo Young. In addition to his parents, Sid is survived by his Lifemate of 20 years, Janie Raxter and her son Isaac, one daughter Sydney Kate Horton (Greg), a granddaughter Keely and a grandson Dakota. He also was a father to Blake Conner. Two sisters Donna Oakman and Susan Phillips, and a number of nieces and nephews that he was close to. A military memorial service will be held in private. A celebration of life will be set at a later date. Sid traveled extensively before settling in the foothills and starting his own business, Bipod Shooting Sticks. He will be dearly missed by many.
