Roy Luther Sewell, 53, of Easley passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Easley, South Carolina, March 6, 1970, he was the son of the late Riley and Frances Gunter Sewell.
Just days before his passing, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He loved playing a good game of pool, spending time with friends and family, and he had an infectious laugh.
He is survived by his brothers Jim Sewell (Cindy) and Ray Sewell; two nieces Jennifer Harvey (Brandon) and Kayla Sewell; two nephews Chris Sewell and Matt Sewell (Emilee); great-nieces Lexi, Kylie, Paislee, and Kennedy; great-nephew Bentlee; special friend Michelle Dove and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Jerry Scott Sewell.
The family is at their respective homes. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley with Pastor Carlton Cleveland officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Hospice of the Foothills.
