Though his beloved mother, Annie Ruth Newsome, and siblings Marilyn Guy, Gloria Hardgrove, Mahalia Newsome, and Brenda Newsome predeceased him, their memories fueled his journey with love and purpose. Roy's bond with his brothers, Alonzo Yates, Andrew Newsome, Charles Newsome, Mitchell Hyder, Enex Hyder Jr., and his sister, Kelly Thomas, was unbreakable. Together, they shared countless tales that will continue to echo through generations. Roy is also survived by his daughter, Sunni Osborne.
