Roy Bailey

Roy Bailey, 84, made his way to heaven on Sunday, December 30, 2018. Born in Greenwood, on August 12, 1934, to the late Fred Bailey and Lilly Mae Jones. Roy retired from his business Bailey’s Well Drilling which he loved dearly.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lyla Yvonne Bailey; sons, Wade Bailey (Allison), Freddie Bailey (Jackie), Randy Bailey (Tonya); daughters, Phyllis Thomason (Eddie), Sherry B. Harcrow (Richey). He is also survived by six grandchildren, Freddie Bailey Jr., Tonya S. Bailey, Lisa Thomason, Eddie Thomason and Andrew Bailey. And three great-grandchildren, Joshua Thomason, Lexi Thomason and Tabatha Taylor.
The visitation will be held January 4, 2018 from 1:00pm – 4:30 p.m. at his residence; 3 Burmaster Drive Greenville, SC 29605. Services will be held at Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd. Greenville, SC 29611, on January 7, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens at 3:30 p.m. located at 7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.
