Roscoe "Calvin" Manley

September 24, 1946 — December 29, 2020

Roscoe “Calvin” Manley, 74, husband of Dianne I. Chappelear Manley, passed from this life Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville, South Carolina he is a son of the late Roscoe Wagner “R.W.” Manley and the late Eva Mae Burnette Manley Timms. Calvin learned the carpentry trade by working with his father in the construction business while building houses in the Berea area. Survivors include his wife Dianne of fifty-two years, a daughter Renee Manley, a granddaughter Alanna Manley, sisters; Shirley Mote, Ruth Bryant, Norma Jean Murray all of Greenville, Helen Bullock of Gaffney, Margaret Phillips of Tennessee, Lisa Evatt and Sherry Moody of Easley. Mr. Manley was predeceased by his parents; a brother Albert Manley and a sister Betty Neighbors. Friends and family may view Mr. Manley’s body in the chapel of Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 11 am until 1 pm with the graveside service to follow at 2 pm at Graceland West Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
