Ronnie McKinney of Union, South Carolina passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 4:15am at the age of 67. After a long struggle with declining health this year, he said his final goodbyes at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Heath where he had been being treated for a number of health issues. Ronnie had always been a hardworking man; from working in manufacturing, to working in a mechanics garage, to finally finding his place in South Carolina where he spent the last 18 years helping people work on cars, mowers, or whatever they needed fixed. Making friends with everyone he met along the way, he would gladly give you the shirt off his back, his last dime or some blunt advice. Ronnie is survived by his four daughters, Angie Leonard & husband Stacy, Cathy Frick, Renee Fulk & husband Chris, and Emily Sturkie & husband Kris. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren that meant the world to him, Jason Leonard, Jacob Leonard, Justin Leonard, Nathan Fulk, Chase Fulk, Jadlyn Sturkie and Sarah Sturkie; and his brothers & sisters (in no specific order), Randy McKinney, Ellen Guy, Victoria Friedmann, Linda Rau, Bonnie Wilson, and Paul McKinney. A Memorial will be held in North Carolina where his family and friends can say their last goodbyes. Location as follows: September 9, 2017 at 2:00pm at Freedom Baptist Church, 214 Hillcrest Ct., Lexington, NC 27292
