Ronald Lavalle Morrow, 80 husband of Debra Morrow went home to be with Jesus on January 19, 2024. Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Lavalle Morrow and Moreen Morrow Talley.
Ron retired from The Bibb Company and Safety Components Company with perfect attendance.
Ron was a member of the South Greenville Moose Lodge for 34 years where he held various positions. His favorite was being the Chairman of the Beautification Committee and he kept the grounds surrounding the lodge in immaculate condition. He loved being outside and enjoyed mowing the lawn, washing the vehicles, and planting flowers and evergreens. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports on TV, going to the Lodge, spending his birthday weekend at the lake with family and his best friends, and vacations in Helen, GA with family.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ron was a member of Bessie Road Baptist Church and loved going to church on Sundays and out to eat with special friends.
In addition to his wife Debbie, he is survived by his sons, Todd Morrow (Kristie), Ben Fields, and Shane Fields ( Gina). Sisters, Elizabeth Baker and Wanda Hawkins (Ed). Grandchildren, Heather Stewart (Mark), Talon Wilson, Jazlyn Fields, Liam Fields, Cameron Summerall, Cloe Stewart, Savanna Stewart, and Anthony Stewart, Jr. With numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavalle and Moreen, and his brother-in-law Bobby Baker.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm at the Cremation Society of SC- Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC Friday, January 26, 2024. Services will be held at 2 pm with burial to follow at Graceland West Memorial Park, Greenville, SC
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greenville or Open Arms Hospice.
