Ronald "Sonny" Edward Kearse

Ronald “Sonny” Edward Kearse, 89, of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away December 4, 2020. Born in Adams Run, South Carolina he was the son of Wesley Sease and Thelma Prescott Kearse.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Billie “Jenny” Jennings Kearse, his children: Sandra (Mike) Dickson, of Easley, Robert Gillespie of Inman, Jeri Arnold of Inman, DI (Louanne) Kearse of Pauline, and Debra (John) Crowe of Spartanburg, he is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, he is also survived by one sister, Patricia Keating, of Charleston. Ronald was predeceased by a child, J.J. Jackson, a granddaughter, Carly Dickson, and a brother, Wilfred Sease Kearse.
Sonny was a graduate of The Medical University of Charleston School of Pharmacy; he was also past President of the Piedmont Sertoma Club.
A memorial service will be held at the family’s home for the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
