Roberta Brader

Roberta Leonette Brader, 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 24, 2017.  Born October 21, 1935 in Omaha Nebraska, to parents Harry and Jean Welch.
Roberta is preceded in death by her brother Eugene Welch and sister-in-law Sarah Anderson.  She married John Brader in August, 1965, in Santa Clara, California.  He died at 70, September 27, 2006. Roberta graduated University of Nebraska with a degree in Elementary Education.  She moved to California and was a school teacher until her daughter was born.  She continued in the classroom as an art docent bringing artwork to many students in the Cupertino School District.  After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, she became a docent at the High Museum of Art.  Her love of the arts was a passion throughout her life.  Roberta and John retired to Callawassie Island, South Carolina.  She was able to fulfill her love of golf with many rounds with the 9 and 18 Holers at the Callawassie Island Country Club. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Camerieri and her husband Chris of Marietta, Georgia; three grandchildren Maggie, Coco and Elise Camerieri. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 27141-5014.
