Robert Irving Pearce, known affectionately as Bob to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024, in Mauldin, South Carolina. Born on October 17, 1933, in Parma, New York, Bob's life was marked by his loving nature, kindness, and generosity that touched everyone he met.

Bob was a devoted family man, survived by his sons, Guy Pearce, R. David Pearce, and Scott (Terri) Pearce; his daughter, Betsy (Russell) East; and his brother, Frank Pearce. He was a cherished grandfather to Laurie (Keith) Weaver, Shannon Pearce, Matthew (Jen) Pearce, and Amanda (Scott) Friefeld. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Everett Weaver; Addison, Gavin, Ainsley, and Emmett Pearce; and Tyler and Lucas Friefeld. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Pearce; his parents, Guy Pearce and Anna DeBois Pearce; and his son, Charles Pearce.
He served his country with honor as an Air Force veteran. His career as an electrical engineer was marked by dedication and a keen intellect, which earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Throughout his life, Bob's easygoing nature made him a joy to be around. He had a passion for golf, often found on the green, enjoying the game and the companionship of his fellow players. Bob's love for the sport only surpassed his love for his family and friends.
 
Bob's character was the epitome of love, kindness, and generosity. He spent many years with his beloved wife, Betty, volunteering to transport seniors to appointments and deliver meals. He was a man who always put others before himself, offering support and a warm smile to anyone in need. His presence comforted those around him, and his influence will be felt for generations.
