Robert Bruce “ Bud “ Griffin, passed peacefully on July 16, 2019 at the age of 68. Cherished son of the late Stanley and Ruth Griffin; loving father of Brandon Griffin (Cristina), Brittany Hales (Craig), Nicole Baker (Ryan) and Taylor Griffin; dear grandfather of Tyler Lavelle, Jayden Hales and Logan Hales. Navy Veteran, Vietnam War. Encouraging friend and avid cyclist. Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 1710 Little Texas Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690 at 6:00pm. Memorial Ride from North Greenville to Jump Off Rock to be determined. In lieu of flowers, Bud's wishes were for donations to be made to bicycle related non-profits: Momentum Bike Club, Velo Valets Gives Back, Village Wrench, Greenville Spinners Safety Foundation or Palmetto Cycling Coalition.
