Robert Duffie “ Bob “ Turner

Robert Duffie (Bob) Turner on November 03, 2017 Robert passed away peacefully at the age of 69. For those that knew him will always remember him for his sense of humor and willingness to help others. His love for his children, grandchildren and family will always be remembered and missed.
Born January 23, 1948 in Greenville, SC, Robert was the Son of the late James (Jim) Turner and Margaret Duffie Turner. Robert graduated from Carolina High School class of 1967, and served in the US Army during 1968 and 1969.
Robert is survived by two children, Melissa Turner Oken and husband Jim of Columbia, SC and Kevin Robert Turner and wife Kacey of Florence, SC. 5 Grandchildren, Eden, Harper, Emersyn, Turner and Layla. Robert is also survived by two brothers, Ronnie Turner (Anne Marie), Tim Turner (Judy) and one sister Pamela Fielder (Jeff) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Smithfield’s Country Club on November 12, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina. 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
The family would like to say a special heartfelt “Thanks” to the staff at Greer Rehab and to Hospice Care of South Carolina for providing such wonderful care of Robert in his last days.
