Richard (Rick) Loring Davis

Richard (Rick) Loring Davis, age 75 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at his home in Buffalo, SC. Rick was born in Oceanside, CA on June 14, 1947, to Robert Loring and Betty Ellen Davis. He was a retired machinist who retired to Buffalo with his wife Sharon in 2015. He loved to play golf, he loved God’s creation around him and he loved people. Most of all he loved to talk about Jesus. He was a member of Putman Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother (Joel). Surviving is his wife Sharon Davis of 15 years. A daughter, Jaime (Josh) Hedrick, and grandson Benjamin of Parkville, MD. Also, a nephew Adam, and nephew Luke, and his family from Bradenton, FL. As well as a niece Amy Wilkins and family in Tennessee.
A memorial will be held on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at 2:00 pm for all who would like to pay respects. Memorial will be held at the Putman Baptist Church, 3692 Buffalo West Springs Hwy, Buffalo, SC 29321.
