Richard "Rich" Galasso, a man of courage and adventure, passed away on May 2, 2024, in Anderson, South Carolina. Born on January 6, 1947, in the Bronx, New York, Rich's zest for life touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Rich carried his adventurous spirit throughout his life, finding joy in the simple pleasures of bowling, hunting, and the experiences that came with world travel.
Family was the cornerstone of Rich's life. He is survived by his loving wife, Josette Galasso, of 40 years. He is also survived by his loving brother, Robert Galasso and his wife Kathy, his caring sister, Donna Galasso and her husband James, his devoted daughter, Nikki Wankin and her husband James, and his cherished granddaughter, Ohanna. Rich also leaves behind his stepsons, Joey and Tony Marucci, who were dear to him. Each family member was a testament to Rich's capacity for love and his role as a guiding force in their lives.
