Richard Lamar Brackin

Woodruff, SC - Richard Lamar Brackin, 74, passed away on February 21, 2023. He was born in Butler, GA on October 19, 1948 to his parents, Doris and Ollie Brackin (Deceased). Richard was a decorated Vietnam Combat Veteran. Richard spent his career Supervising Construction and Maintenance. He had a tremendous love for his family, his dogs, and motorcycles. Richard is survived by his wife Patricia, who together celebrated 30 years of marriage on August 15, 2022. He is also survived by sister Jean Carpenter (Jim); brother Robert; son Richard Jr.; Richard Jr’s mother, Sheryl; stepson Sean (Kris); stepdaughter Shannon (Jimmy); grandchildren Richard III (Stacy), Nick, Harry, Jack, Vance, Vaughn, and Vienna.
Nieces and nephews include Corey, Kelly (deceased), Traci (Randy), Debbie, Michelle, Jason and many others. Richard’s brother, William (Eve) predeceased him.
