On February 24, 2020, Richard James Hubbard, of Center Ossipee, NH, went home to be with the Lord in Greenville, SC, at the age of 82. Ric was born in Quincy, MA, in 1937, graduated from Quincy High in 1955, and started his 45-year career at Forté Dupee Sawyer Co. in Boston. Ric served in the US Marine Corps Reserve from 1957-1965.
Ric is predeceased by his brother, Ralph Hubbard, and brother-in-law, Frank Naimo. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vicky Seaman Hubbard; his twin sister, Nancy Naimo; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charlie & Cindy Seaman; and sister-in-law, Pat Hubbard. Ric was a loving dad to Laura & Don McNeel, Peter & Karen Hubbard, John & Janice Hubbard, Rick & Chris Hubbard, Phil & Julie Hubbard, and Michael Hubbard, as well as many foster children. He enjoyed skiing, skating, boating, and hiking with his grandchildren Andrea & Chet, Alyssa, Kai, Cami, Matt & Bekah, Connor, Ricky & Natalie, Nate & Delaney, Trevor, Andrew, Katie, Kayla, Keaton, Emily, Julianna, Hannah, Grant, Brianna, Maryn, Alexandra, Leanne, and Jack, as well as two great-grandchildren, Weston and Nora.
After committing his life to Christ, Ric loved serving at church, in other various ministries, and on the board of Dublin Christian Academy. His memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28, at North Hills Church, Taylors, SC, at 1:00 p.m. An additional service will be held this summer at FCCO, Center Ossipee, NH. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to North Hills Church Mission Fund or Dublin Christian Academy, Dublin, NH.
