Regina Consuelo McNeely (Mouse - Gina), born June 28, 1970, age 52, of Berea SC, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2023.
Gina was the daughter of the late Jesus Y. Burrell and Francis V. Candelaria. She was preceded in death by her brother, Freddy Sanchez; her sister, Rita Sanchez; and her grandchild, Bean.
Gina is survived by her sisters, Inez Huerta, Rebecca Aranda, Suzie Candelaria, and Mary Candelaria Sanchez; her husband Walter "Grumpy" McNeely; her daughters Katrina Martin (Mike), Jenaeya Dicochea, Lynessa Holmes; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and adopted familia.
Gina was a loving, giving, compassionate person. Her family ALWAYS came first. She loved riding with her husband, Grumpy, watching movies, and talking with her girls. She loved her dogs, Bear and Stoney. She had so many friends she considered familia like the Skinners (Vicky, Jerry, Ariel, and Robert); the Jones family (Rhonda and Winfred); and the "Tribe" which included Colleen, Judy, and Shannon.
She is known for taking care of others. She spent many years caring and showering love on Chad Burrell, Jr. Her second love was baking, cooking, and feeding everyone. It was her way of showering them with LOVE. She even started a business called Gina's Goodies. Everyone's favorite was MexiBilly BBQ and her tamales. She loved all those that supported her dream.
So Gina, in your own words to us, we say today "Duerman con Dios" - Sleep with God.
