She was the widow of William Thornton. Survivors include her children; Brandi Fowler-Fletcher and Joshua Fowler, other survivors include two grandchildren, her two sisters; Connie Vanderford-Miller and Vickie Vanderford, and one brother, Ronnie Vanderford.
