Ray Tippett

Mr. Ray Edward Tippett, son of the late George and Ethel Tippett, passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his Wife Virginia Tippett and 2 stepchildren. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Kimberly Cooley (Tom) and Kelley Storay-Bricco and his stepdaughter Ann Cox John) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ray worked for many years at Satterfield Plumbing in Greer, South Carolina and in his later years worked at Emerald high School in Greenwood, South Carolina. He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina but lived most of his life in Greenwood, South Carolina. Ray was a simple man who enjoyed country music, dancing, collecting vinyl records and being in the company of his friends and family. He was well loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family will have a private service to remember the life of Ray Tippett.
