Randy Wade Morgan

August 23, 1960 — October 16, 2023

Randy Wade Morgan, known affectionately as the silver fox; was born in Houston, TX on August 23, 1960, and passed away on October 16, 2023. Randy's zest for life and adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Randy's love for adventure was boundless. He embraced life with a passion for surfing, skateboarding, cycling, rafting, Jeeping, hiking, scuba diving, and extensive travel, exploring nearly every state in the United States and venturing into various countries. His enthusiasm for the great outdoors and his thirst for thrilling experiences were truly remarkable.

But it wasn't just the great outdoors that captured his heart; Randy had a deep appreciation for culinary experiences as well. He was an avid food lover and an enthusiastic epicurean. Whether savoring a homemade dish or discovering unique flavors at local eateries and international restaurants, his love for food was undeniable. Randy's kindness, love, and caring nature defined him. He had a unique ability to
connect with anyone he met, never knowing a stranger. His warm heart and great sense of humor brightened the lives of all those around him. Randy is survived by his one and only true love, LaLanya Morgan. Their extraordinary journey began 20 years ago at Bookwalter Winery and, remarkably, their paths crossed again just a month later. Their connection was undeniable, leading to 18 beautiful years of marriage.

He is also survived by his cherished children: Crystal Morgan (along with Bella and Madelyn), Paxtynn and Jordan Waquie (along with Hudson), and Logan Risk. His devotion to his children knew no bounds, as he was always there for them whenever they needed him.

Randy is further survived by his loving parents, Shirley and Ken Morgan, and his sister Kami Owen, brother-in-law James Owen, nephew Saleh, and nieces Ailia and Hannah. His warm and generous spirit extended to many other family members and friends who became like family.

At this time, there are no scheduled celebrations. Randy's memory will live on in the hearts of all
those whose lives he touched, forever grateful for the time they spent with him.
