Huntington, Ralph J LaRocque, 91 of Texas Hill Rd died at home Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Ralph was born in Burlington on August 11, 1930, the son of Arthur and Bessie (King) LaRocque. He was married in Essex Jct. on October 5, 1963 to Patricia (Wheeler). He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed at Lavalley and Ide for most of his life.
Ralph was an avid fisherman and enjoyed singing, rocking and playing with his great grandchildren. He was a great storyteller, sharing many memories of his life with others. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his two sons, Kevin and Kathy LaRocque of Milton, Stephen and Vickie LaRocque of Wellford, SC; a grandson, Christopher and four granddaughters, Stephanie, Kari, Danielle and Amanda. 11 Great Grandchildren, Austin, Owen, Rosa, Remi, Reese, Emerson, Wylie, Leland, Barrett, Sawyer and Delanie. A sister Josephine Irish of SC. Also, several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend and canine companion Dixie. He is predeceased by his wife, his parents, his siblings and a grandson, Matthew Hance.
A celebration of his life will be held at the discretion of his family. At his request there will be no visiting hours.
