Ralph Ronald Knight

August 25, 1942 — August 26, 2024

Taylors, SC

Ralph Ronald Knight had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. He blessed this world for 82 years leaving a legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Ronald's life was marked by devotion to his loving wife of 61 years, Lynn Knight. Together, they built a family that became Ronald's pride and joy. His daughter, Pam Bryant, and her husband Daryn, his granddaughter, Brittany Bryant, and her husband Kevin, his grandson, Tyler Bryant, and his wife Miranda, and his great-granddaughter Aleeah Foster.

Predeceased are Ronald's parents, Ralph and Pearl Knight, his sister, Barbara Ann Parker, and his brother, Roger Knight. Surviving are his three brothers Dewey, Floyd, and Eddie (wife Peggy) Knight, and sister Carrie Lynn.

Ronald was a US Army veteran who continued to work hard his entire life. He was a craftsman at work and a master of life, earning the unofficial titles of Best Husband, Father, and Papa. He found joy in the roar of engines and the thrill of automotive racing, the only thing he loved more was cookouts with his family, where laughter was the secret ingredient to every meal.

His story is not one of an end but a beautiful reminder that a life well-lived is a legacy that continues to inspire, motivate, and guide us toward our best selves. Ronald's memory will forever be light, guiding us through the “race” of life with the family as our “crew”. Respecting his wishes, a service will not be held. In lieu family will be gathering over the next few days at his home place.
