Rachel Elaine (Keefer) Siecke

d. February 9, 2014

Cherished wife, beloved daughter, adored sister, treasured aunt, niece, cousin and friend; RACHEL ELAINE KEEFER SIECKE, 34, of Taylors, SC, ended her year long battle with cancer in victory on Sunday, February 9, 2014, when she entered into the joy of her Lord and heard Him say, "We'll done, good and faithful servant."

Rachel was born on June 22, 1979 to Ralph and Loretta Keefer of Norristown PA, the youngest of seven children.  The family relocated to Taylors SC in the fall of 1988.

Rachel is a graduate of The Academy of Arts Christian School of Taylors and received her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Greenville Technical College where she was currently pursing her license to practice massage therapy.  She also enjoyed singing with her sisters and dreamed of using her bass guitar to worship her Savior.

Other than Jesus, the greatest love of her life was Eric Brian Siecke of Taylors. They were married on February 16, 2002 and spent twelve wonderful years together.

Rachel was preceded in death by her sister, Lea; her niece, Karissa and her Mother- in-law and Father-in-law, Linda and Brian Siecke. She is survived by her husband, Eric Siecke; her parents, Ralph and Loretta Keefer and her siblings: Laura Keefer, Regina (Jody) Keller, Russ (Ruth) Keefer, Audra (Jeremy) Smith and Dee (Adam) Leggett.  She will also be deeply missed by her surviving 13 nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly and countless others who's lives Rachel touched.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 15 from 1-3, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00pm at Greer Mill Church, 52 Bobo Street, Greer SC 29651

It was Rachel's wish that in lieu of flowers, all memorial donations be made to the community outreach program of Rushing Wind Ministries of Greer SC, Care of Greer Mill Church
