Rachel Helen Hopkins, formely of Easley, passed away on March 21, 2014 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville after a brief illness. Rachel was predeceased by her parents, Woodrow and Clara Hopkins, a son James Barbery, and a brother, Woody Hopkins Jr.
She is survived by sisters, Elizabeth (Lib) Derrick, (Benny) of Chapin, Janet Hopkins, and Brother Jim (Donna) Hopkins of Easley. She is also survived by a son, Roger Dale Fowler of Greenville and nieces and nephews. Rachel has lived in Easley, Travelers Rest, Marietta, and Eton, Georgia.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680; or to St. Paul UMC, 2513 Brushy Creek Road, Easley, SC 29642 for the food pantry.
A private memorial service will be held.
