Priscilla Jean Lampl

November 13, 1944 — January 10, 2025

Greer

Priscilla Jean Lampl passed away January 10, 2025 in Greenville, South Carolina. Born November 13, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Talmage Turner Ray and Harriett Eleanor Ray (Hoover), and sister to Robert Ray and Ann Lehman. She married Sanford M. Lampl in 1988 and they worked and traveled together, making friends everywhere they went. Beaches were her favorite, especially the areas of East River, Nova Scotia, and Kiawah Island, South Carolina. A master hostess, she loved entertaining friends and family, and appreciated fine art and music. She enjoyed doing craft work and was an adept quilter, noted for her mariner’s compass designs. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and she was a member of the East Greenville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Priscilla is survived by sons Brian Keller (Lori) and David Lampl (Dorothy), daughters Kathy Lampl and Peggy Elkind (David), brother Robert Ray (Virginia), nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and dear friends. She is as deeply missed as she was deeply loved. The family’s thanks go out to her caregivers for their tireless support of Priscilla and Sandy, as well as to her many friends and neighbors who cared for them and brightened their lives.

A memorial service for Priscilla will be held on Sunday, January 26th at 7:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1400 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, SC.
