Before moving to Greer, Phyllis enjoyed her life in Youngstown, Ohio. She spent many years as a pianist and keyboardist at Highway Tabernacle Assembly of God where she was a lifelong member. Phyllis was also a graduate of Youngstown State University and was employed as a registered nurse at Northside Hospital.
A private celebration commemorating the lives of both of their parents will be held by Phyllis’s daughters and their children later this year. The family wishes to thank the hospice staff who cared so lovingly for her in her final days and hours, and requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to local hospice organizations.
