She was the cherished daughter of Loretta Wright and the beloved sister of Carl N. Wright and Robin L. Wright. Phillis's legacy of love and laughter lives on through her nieces and nephews: Brandy McRae, Antwain McRae, Cadejah Wright, Caryn Wright, Carl Wright Jr, Quinton Wright, and Karnel Miller Wright, as well as her adored great-nephews Malik McRae, Malachi McRae, and Ziair Davenport, alongside many more who felt her warmth and care.

A proud graduate of high school in Greensboro, SC, Phillis went on to further her education by attending some college, a testament to her belief in lifelong learning. Her professional journey was marked by her many years of dedicated service at Charter Communication, where she was not only a valued employee but also a friend and mentor to many.
