Phillip Henry Waddell

Phillip Henry Waddell, 68, of Travelers Rest, SC passed away Saturday, December 26th, 2020 in Greenville, SC. He was born Tuesday, January 15th, 1952 in Greenville, SC to his parents, the late Milton and Grace Butler Waddell.
Phillip will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Susan Waddell; his children, Brent Waddell and Candace Gifford; his grandchildren , Brandon Gifford (Makenna) and Mary Gifford (Fiancé, Seth Barbare); his great grandchild Sylvester Marc Gifford; as well as his brothers, Ronnie Waddell and Charles Steve Waddell.
Mr. Waddell owned and operated “P. H. Waddell Painting Company” since 1977. He had several long time business colleagues that worked for him over the years. He was an avid antique collector. Buying, selling and trading items of particular value. He especially enjoyed spending time on the River at Florida. “A great dad and husband.” Phillip was a member of Locust Hill Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Johnny Waddell.
